While in the UK this past December I found a Peggy Lee hardcover biography at a charity shop called "Fever" along with an LP copy of "If You Go" UK pressing (arranged & conducted by Quincy Jones) and a few other miscellaneous LPs. The elderly man at the register commented on my choices, "It looks like someone's a Peggy Lee fan." I replied, "Yeah, it'll be good to read this book and learn more about her." "Well," he shot back, "she's only one of the greatest jazz singers of all-time!"
