FREDDY WELLER The Roadmaster LP 1972

By request, here's a classic C&W LP by FREDDY WELLER released in 1972 (while he was still a member of the Raiders) and produced by Billy Sherrill. A pretty solid album with most songs co-wrote by Weller and featuring The Jordanaires on backing vocals.

THE ROADMASTER - LET'S MAKE THE MOST OF TONIGHT - SHE LOVES ME - LONELY WOMEN MAKE GOOD LOVERS - WHO DO YOU LOVE - BALLAD OF A HILLBILLY SINGER - THERE'S AN ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER - GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY - BARS HAVE MADE A PRISONER OUT OF ME - SWEET SOUNDS OF LOVE - AN OLDIE, BUT A GOODIE

NOTE: This roadmaster, yours truly, is hitting the road today with Daniel and BLACK DUB so I think this LP is the perfect post for the day. And please don't fret, there's lots of vinyl goodies scheduled for the coming weeks including the FINAL EPISODES of THE VINYL SHELF (3rd season) along with 3 more hours of OLD SCHOOL COUNTRY. STAY TUNED!

Oh, and Chaoscott71, I got your letter and THANKS for getting in touch and the kind words. Best from The Pipe.........

  1. Thank so much for this ... been looking for it for a long time. I just love the Raiders, and all the guys that were ever in that band.

BTW, I have linked to your site from mine:
